Genevieve has always had an affinity for melodramatics and crafting grand, insufferable spectacles, a trait she shares with her older sister, Lizzie.

When Genevieve was 14, Lizzie took her to a production of Tim Minchin’s Matilda. From the moment she witnessed the When I Grow Up number, she knew her life would revolve around the world of theatre and performance.

Genevieve has spent the better part of the last decade writing a musical about Australia's most coordinated and colourful heroes, The Matildas.

In 2026, Lizzie and Genevieve will be entering an original satire production into the Adelaide Fringe Festival.
